S6 Spoilers & Speculation

New! It has officially been announced. This is the final season of Angel, and will not leave us hanging like "Not Fade Away" as planned, for a follow up movie.

New! - The producers of the show have revealed that the rumour about J. August Richards departure is indeed true. Before the show had even begun its inception, the actor had been approached to return as his longtime character "Charles Gunn". Unfortuantely, with his busy schedule, he signed on for a maximum of 12 episodes. Whether he will be around for the full 12, we don't know, but we won't be seeing Gunn after the mid-season finale!

New! - It has been revealed that the producers don't know what will become of the Angel saga after the sixth season, whether another season will follow or a wrap up movie will take place. But, this season has, and always had been, approached like a final season; with the Wolf, the Ram, and the Hart making its very first appearance! "Its really up to the fans," the producers told VPtoday, "The finale has a lot of mindblowing moments, and ends quite, how can I put this, cliffhanger-y," they continued, "So pretty much, the season ends with a lot of continuity open up for a film or lead up season; but pretty much everything you would want to see in a final season is in this very season!"

New! - On the question of continuity, the producers had also told us a few ideas to keep the show alive with its counterpart, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which has been picked up to continue its saga here on the VPN. "A rumour has been going around that states we, the producers, have been taking it under consideration that one or two characters from Angel will go on over to Buffy after its sixth season," they begun, "And it is indeed true. However, this is just an idea, that may or may not happen, but has been looked at for quite some time, and some stories have been already in the makes for this possible continuation of the Angel characters." (would this interfere with a possible movie and/or seventh season?) "Well, at the moment we're swaying more to the "movie" side of things, but a seventh season wouldn't be too out there. Angel has a lot to get through, in redeeming himself and achieving the Shanshu prophecy, but we still can't decide. Yes, it would interfere, but it would still come to pass."

6x01 - Casulaties of War
-Los Angeles currently resides in hell itself after Angel foolishly signed a document, in which he thought was to rid himself of the Shanshu Prophecy, but in fact dragged the city to flames.
-Kate returns, marking the very first season of Angel Elisabeth Rohm has been a series regular!!
-Someone from the Season Finale "Not Fade Away" will die in the season premiere.

6x02 - Blackout
-The producers have revealed the name of the episode to be "blackout".
-A simple transference will take place that sucks Angel out of hell, but unleashes a demonic assassin into the Hyperion Hotel; putting all of his friends in danger.
-There is a scene where Kate and Angel make up for their troubles throughout the first two seasons of the show!

6x03 - Freak Like Me
-The producers have revealed the name of the episode to be "Freak Like Me".
-Alexa Davalos guest stars.

6x04 - Live by the Sword
-The producers have revealed the name of the episode!
-Looks like Lilah Morgan returns once again! But what is the reason for her being back? Well, the producers have revealed that the first four episodes were the one of the many storyline arcs of the season, this first one revolving around Angel's mistakes, and what he must learn to ultimately get passed them!
-It has been revealed that Alexa Davalos will not be sticking around for the whole season, even after signing a 13 episode based contract. And with the producers revealing that a lot of characters die in this episode, does this mean we won't be seeing Gwen around later on in the season?

6x05 - Reward
-The Official VPN Description has been released: When a vampiric woman from Angel’s past returns baring ghastly visions of his battle with the Wolf, Ram, and Hart, Team Angel find themselves getting straight back into the battle -- but with Spike struggling to decide which side he should fight on, knowing deep down the Senior Partners have more control over him than he may think, what will he succumb to? Meanwhile, Cordelia struggles with her new life as nothing but a human, and has become somewhat the damsel in distress that she’s never wanted to become!
-Title announced!!
-This marks the very first episode Cordelia Chase appears in solid form, or to be more correct, human. That's right, the producers have revealed the Cordelia is back, and will be sticking around for the rest of the season. They felt as though bringing her back may upset some of the fans of the show, after having such a great farewell in the fifth season, but thought it was necessary to have her in Angel's sixth year of action-packed series, and thought of the perfect way to get her here!
-Not much has been revealed about this episode, other than the Cordelia reveal, as the producers want to keep it quite tight.
-It has just been revealed why this episode had been kept secret from all the spoiler-y goodness! Looks like the well reknown Drucilla will return to Los Angeles, on a blood hunt for Angel! What does she have to do with the story's overall plot, well, lets just say, she's somewhat of the big bad this episode!! The producers have told us, "Angel had been living in Hell for about a month, and now, feeling like the real world couldn't get any better, Drucilla shows up to prove him wrong," they explained, "We kept this quiet for so long because we figured people wouldn't be ready for it, but Jack Malone spoke with us and said it was time we let it out. The amazing Juliet Landau will return in another episode of Angel Season Six, but it will only be in small flashback sequences of his time as Angelus."

6x06 - Back in Business

-Looks like its official: Angel Investigations is back on the map, and cases are flowing through fast!
-It has been revealed that this episode has been called "Back in Business" for three main reasons. Angel Investigations is back, Wolfram & Hart: Attorney's at Law is back up and running, better than ever, and Kate (Elisabeth Rohm) is trying to get her job back at the police department.

6x07 - Bloodlust

-Wolfram & Hart is definately on the offensive mode; setting up a devilish plan that leaves Angel hunting down his whole team, who are locked inside the Hyperion Hotel!
-Angel's dark side comes out, and it is said this episode has the biggest cliffhanger leaving you wanting even more!
-Looks like we're losing a chararacter....
